Counter or Mirror Coat for Psyshock?

Mirror Coat, because Psyshock is a special move, regardless of it dealing damage based on the target’s defence.
If the last amount of damage done to the user before the use of Mirror Coat is greater than 0 and was dealt by a Special move, Mirror Coat will do twice as much damage as taken by that attack to the opponent.

You can counter with mirror coat, since Psyshock is a special move. Also, Psyshock does not trigger abilities like static and poison point. Hope I helped!
