Can Pokemon have 4 types at once?

Let’s just say that in a double battle I send out gourgeist knowing trick or treat and Trevenant knowing forest curse. What if they use those moves against one Pokemon, like quagsire for example, will quagsire be a water/ground/ghost/grass type? Or will one of the moves fail?

If the target already has an additional type added to it by Forest’s Curse, that type is replaced with the Ghost type.

In conclusion?No a Pokemon cannot have 4 types at once. The maximum will be 3 types.
