Can pickup find a leftover in X and Y?

in this site it says it can find leftover so can it in X and Y?also can it find TMs in gen 5/6 as TMs are infinite?

Yesa Pokémon that has the Pickup Ability can pickup Leftovers in Pokémon X and Y.

You have a 1% chance of the Pokémon with the Pickup Ability, picking up Leftovers in Pokémon X and Y if that Pokémon is between Level 81 and 90 or 91 and 100, and of course it is in your party.
