Can I soft reset my exeggcute to get its hidden ability harvest?
Feb. 3, 2018I have already caught my shiny exeggcute and I want to get harvest on it if possible. Can I get it if I keep soft reseting and evolving or not? This is in ultra moon and I obtained it through sos.

Sadly, no. You need an SOS chain for a harvest Exeggcute.
no, you won’t get Harvest on the same Pokemon, even if you keep resetting. This is because it’s determined by a number of variables at the time of capture, so once captured, you can’t soft-reset it at the time of evolution to change its ability- much less to a hidden ability.

I don’t think you can. I’m not sure, but I think the Exeggcute’s ability has to be harvest for the evolution to have harvest as well. I don’t think it is possible to soft reset natures unless it is a gift Pokemon, for example porygon. Porygon’s normal nature, if I’m correct, is Download. But it is possible to Soft Reset for a different nature.
This is just of the top of my head, so it might not be correct.
