Can I put my Pokémon in Home, reset my save file and get them back in the new save?

Well, I want to reset my save file of Pokémon Sword. So I was wondering if I can put all my Pokémons to HOME, reset the game, beat it (if necessary) and transfer all my Pokémon back. Is this possible? I’m afraid that this would erase them frome HOME…

(Also sorry if someone else posted this all questions I found were regarding Bank / 3DS)

Yes, you can do this if you want and your Pokemon will be safe in Home. Alternatively, you could also make a new user on your Switch and play through the game again without resetting your other file (and you can transfer your Pokemon from one user to another using Home, as well, if you’d like).

Yes you can. Go to system settings-Data management-then Delete save Data. But Don’t delete Pokemon Home.
