Can I get a 2nd chance at a shiny Registeel in Pokémon Shield?
Dec. 24, 2020So long story short, I accidentally ran from my first and only genuine shiny encounter, being Registeel in the Crown Tundra DLC. It took around 230-260 encounters using the “run away” shiny hunting method. If I close the software on my Nintendo Switch, will I be able to find a shiny Registeel again? And will it be at the same amount of encounters? Or should I just continue with my progress and hope to find another?

No it may not be same amount of encounters and reseting your game to the point where you last saved will not give you a 2nd chance to catch it. Unfortunately, you should just have hope that you will find another..Hope I helped
