Are you allowed altering you Battle Box during competitions?

The upcoming Generation Showdown (a.k.a. Legendary Free-for-All) will be my first official competition, and I was wondering: say I wanted to test the combonation of Primal Groudon and Kyurem-W, but it ended up sucking in the first three matches. I decide to switch out Kyurem for another Pokémon, but the competition has already started. Are you allowed to alter your Battle Box while a cometition is live?

When you register yourself to a competition, your Battle Box is locked. You can’t make any alterations afterwards, so it’s recommendable to think more than just twice before you throw in something there. After the competition is over, or when you get out of the competition, you can freely switch your battle box.
