Are Pokemon bred from a hacked Pokemon allowed for competitive play?

Yes, provided they pass Pokemon’s inconsistent (and often oddly arbitrary) hack checks. Most bred Pokemon are perfectly legitimate.commented Mar 30 by Amethyst

As long as the Pokemon is obtainable it should be fine. Now that mirror herbs are a thing, I think incompatible egg moves are no longer an issue. There’s probably some super obscure moveset that isn’t legitimately obtainable but can be obtained by breeding hacked Pokemon (likely involving moves that must be learned in older games), but I don’t know if a moveset like that exists.commented Mar 30 by sumwun

Hacked Pokemon are allowed in competitive play as long as they do not have any illegal qualities. If it’s a legal Pokemon, it doesn’t matter if it’s hacked or not.commented Mar 31 by MonkeyBusiness
