Any way to get past slaking's traunt?

Whats the best way to overcome my slakings traunt in a double battle.(I don’t have one but im gonna train a slakoth tonight, so I gotta be ready)and how is slaking supposed to use focus punch if he cant attack on the second turn?

You can use skill swap to pass it to the foe.

edit-I was thinking of the wrong move, I meant Gastro Acid. It gets rid of your target’s ablility until they switch out.

You can always skill swap it for another ability to make it unstoppable, but your other pokemon will have truant now. And then make your ally skill swap it to an opponent.

Yeah, use skill swap. Then once youhave done that you can use it on your opponet so they would have traunt.

Skill Swap,MummyandGastro Acidwill all help in getting past Truant.
