Am I IV Breeding Correctly?

First of all, I apologise if this is in the wrong place or if it has been answered. Okay, so, I want to get a 5 IV Ralts. HP, Def, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def and Speed. The Pokemon I am using for parents are:

Ralts (Female)Item:EverstoneIVs:HP, Sp. Atk, Speed.

Phantump (Male)Item:Destiny KnotIVs:Def, Sp.Atk, Sp.Def.

I’d like to know if this would create the Pokemon I want. Thanks in advance.

You probably won’t get it on the first try, but yes, you will get the 5IV Ralts eventually. Destiny Knot passes down 5 random IVs from either parent, and because your parents have max IVs in the stats you want, one of the offspring will be the one you want. Just keep hatching eggs and switching offspring that have better IVs with the parents until you find the perfect one. You can check IVs ingame using the IV judge in the Kiloude city Pokemon Center.
