"???" Pokemon entries?

Hello fellow Pokemon trainers. I have all the three Pokedex databases in Pokemon X. My concern is about some Pokemon (mostly I got from trade) that shows “???” in their Dex numbers. Does this mean there’s still an upgrade needed for my current Pokedex? If so, when can I update it?

Yes you are missing one final upgrade. What you are missing is theNational Pokedex. This upgrade is acquired after you have defeated the Pokemon League for the first time and meet up with Professor Sycamore and his assistants will give it to you. With this Pokedex upgrade every Pokemon not native to Kalos will have a Pokedex number instead of the ???.
